Great email app

Found it in the App Store and was a little skeptical at first but after using it I would recommend it to everyone

Sure like it so far

Just downloaded this app. Still getting used to it, but so far I find it to be excellent.

Buggy for sure

I really like the interface and all the options for customization, but the app crashes about 5 times a day on my iPad and iPhone and then gives me a "sorry about that" window when I log back on. Sometimes this happens in the middle of typing an email which is not recoverable. I dont know if this is a unique experience because everyone else seems to have nothing bad to say- but this is definitely not a flawless app as some people have described.

Very Robust & Customizable.

Tried all the top mail apps and was using 6 apps simultaneously for the best features. Using just Alta Mail now!! Tech support was very quick to answer my "How do I..." Questions.

It Rocks!!!!

This application is the one Ive been looking for .... 100% recommended

VERY SMART

Nice so far, and the features and customization seem endless. Ive bee looking for something with Unread and Favorites. This app not only has that but it also allows different tones for different contacts. Awesome! Stable on an iPad 1 even though my device is a little slow at times. :-) Great investment. Although the company has always seemed a little bit strange to me how they offer different print programs without a good description of why theyre all different. I ended up buying one from them without all the features I thought I was going to get, and now I cant even find it in the App Store. As for this product it seems they have put a lot of work in the development and it is definitely worth the investment.

Trashed Apple Mail

Title says it all: For iOS 10, Apple got rid of Delete All. Alta mail not only has that, but so much more. Really excellent -- my only mail app on iOS.

None

Fantastic and Awesome!!!!!!!!!

Nice App - Wish it had integration with Asana

I am optimistic about this app. I like the integration with Evernote, and would LOVE integration with Asana, so I could add an email to a todo list in Asana, which is where we manage our ToDos. The config options are almost overwhelming! But I think Ive got a look that I like now. Ive set it to show three lines of email message in preview and its not doing that until AFTER I actually open the email... would love that to be done right away on display in the inbox. Still have to set up some rules. But Im optimistic this will be a nicer app (if we can get Asana integration)

Really like!

It has a lot of functions Ive wanted/needed. I couldnt get any sound to let me know I got new e-mail, but thats not a deal-breaker. Their support has really helped. FYI--I have had one of their other apps for years! Would highly recommend :)

Legally Blind

Being a person with low vision finding a comprehensive and customizable email app has been a challenge. I have tried many. Hands down this app is the best. The ability to adjust all of the fonts sends you over the top.

This is excellent email app!!! The best and worth the $4.00

Wonderful!!!

Great email app

Now that I have the notifications figured out I love it. I like the rules and the customizations that I can apply to each account. This offers the best of all the apps.

Move along, not much to see

Update, 8/10/16 iOS 10 has been out for awhile. Altamail continues to chug along on 1 cylinder with an idiotic REAL imap alternative of Wenotify. Still a poor substitute for real time email checking. For a company that has almost captured the iOS printing enhancement market, this is a guaranteed reputation buster in the email department. I keep trying a fain due to the sheer beauty of the app, but always delete it after finding the underlying uselessness of it as a viable email solution. This is an app about nothing. Update, 3/9/15 Though my first trial experience with Altamail was a failure, every time I went over the feature set, I wanted to give it another try. Finally, after looking at all the other silly money I have spent on apps over the years, I made the plunge. Without further ado, I will provide you with my bulleted findings: * Notifications, wherefore art thou? It calls itself an IMAP client, but you have to run through hoops to have it “automatically” show up in your mailbox. You have to go through the laborious process of MANUALLY configuring notifications (in an IMAP client, mind you) by creating a protected address, using google (in my case, gmail) to forward the email to that private address - hosted by Eurosmartz - verifying, testing, and then, you’re done - or so you might think. All works great until… * You want to set this up on a second device (same ID). Since you know the ropes, it’s much easier this time and you start receiving emails right away. HOWEVER, when you return to the first device, it ain’t working. You open it up to see what the problem is and are invariably presented with an SMTP error. SMTP? Am I sending something I’m not aware of? No, the app just “forgot” some of your settings. No problem, you repair it, but STILL no automagic email appearance. *You’ve been emailing tech support the entire time and they’ve been very quick to reply. Very friendly folks, but the answer always boils down to” “Have you tried…?” Not really too helpful. Finally, you feel that the communications shortcoming might be on your end, so you send (what seems to you) a complete description of the difficulties you’re having. Something (exactly) like: Well, just when you think its over... iPhone was working perfectly. I downloaded the app on my iPad, set everything up the 1st time around without a problem. I was getting background notifications on it immediately. I picked up my phone a few hours later, and automatic notifications had stopped. I went back into the setup, and everything was the way I left it, except that SMTP gave me an error 101 when I tried to send. I fixed that by toggling the username option on and off. At this point, I just have to say huh? Im going to setup wenotify for both devices later today to see if I can simultaneously receive messages on both of my devices. If that doesnt work, Ill just go back to my previous imap email app that worked on both of my iOS devices without any custom notification system needed. *As a CSR myself, I would think “boy, this person is really discouraged - let me see if I can duplicate or find someone else who can. Maybe, this is above my knowledge level.” What I received as a reply was something (exactly) like this: Please let us know how you get on after installing WeNotify. Regards, * Thank you loyal readers, but this is the end. After giving this 1 day, I deleted it. The Holy Grail of iOS email is IMAP. This app promises it, but doesnt deliver in the "trial" version. No matter how many useful and unique features it may have, without a demonstration of IMAPability, I wont pay $4 to use features that may be great. That + the facts that the developer hasnt even started working on iOS 8 compatibility and, that I can only search 30 messages, equals not worth my time to explore further. I rated it 2 stars only because of the attractive interface. As an aside, I use the completely free app CloudMagic. Its so good I would buy it if there were a paid version. Perfect IMAP sync.

Big downgrade

For weeks I have been fighting with an error constantly asking me for a password to a email acct. the funny thing is altamail would never accept the password and eurosmartz cant seem to fix this problem. Its very annoying. What a shame because altamail started out as a good email solution.

Mail

Every thing works as described so far.

Actually POP mail across devices

Only app Ive found that actually syncs POP mail across 2 devices at the same time.

Awesome

One app that links all your email together. This is what I needed since I have multiple email accounts and with this app I can ease my task.

Great app

This app is very good, print works great, I just have to figure how to print when not at home to my none AirPrint printer, using cloud, or google print. Love it.

Excellent!

The app is great. The customer support is even better :)
