AltaMail Classic App Reviews

There were some issue with Altamail in the past several times, but it seemed tech support did not have enough knowledge to support customers. The APP has so many settings but some settings were NOT working properly, but tech support had never provide me resolution, but blame to iOS... I do not recommend to purchase this APP.

Very cluttered look. Did not like at all! For $4.99 I expected it to be really great. The free email apps are way better. Notifications didnt even work either. Angry that I wasted $4.99.

I have been looking for a better email App for the iPhone and iPad, and so far this is the best one I have found. If you are a user that likes to set up filtering on your email client, this one can do it. If you want your emails pre-sorted by your email program…this one can do it. If you like to use custom fonts, or have your email displayed in an certain manner, this is the email program for you. Yes, it’s interface is different, and yes, it takes a bit of use to learn how to make use of it, but it’s well worth the time. This is by far the best email program for IOS that I have found…Give it a try, spend some time with it, learning some of it’s many features and functions.. I think you will like it….BC

This is the only iOS email that has desktop emails capability. Lots of features and functions. BC

Ive only use this a few days, but Im extremely pleased so far. In the past, Ive always been disappointed in email apps, and preferred using my computer instead. This app may convince me otherwise.

2016-03-20: Im back for another try with Altamail after a last straw exit years ago. Recently, I have wanted to add my company Logo to my email signature block. Altamail is the only app I have found that can do this. I spent hours trying to get iOS mail to do it properly but the logo eventually disappears. Now that I am trying Altamail again, I am pleasantly surprised at all the improvements that have been made since giving up on it years ago. OLD Review: I notice that at least one other has found Altamail does not work with verizon anymore. I realize this program must be a difficult and vast undertaking to write and maintain. Bugs are addressed causing more bugs needing to be fixed. I just woke up one morning, tried to access my verizon email and it didnt work anymore. I had not made any setting changes so I chalk it up to something verizon or Altamail did to cause it. By the way, I run concurrent apps for email and all of them worked and continue to work. I have been dealing with this working/notworking situation for at least 2yrs now and have wasted too much time trying to solve a lineage of problems that never end. I need an app to be reliable and not continuously needing maintenance, therefore I am going back to iOS Mail. The additional features offered with Altamail are not worth the constant breakdowns and inadequate help from Customer service. "The Lights are on but nobody is home". If they dont know the answer they blame it on me for not having the right settings. I would guess that my problem could be solved by deleting my verizon accounts and then setting them up (as I have had to do many times before!) again but of course, when you do that, all the downloaded emails associated with those accounts are also deleted and who knows if it will or will not work after, or 3mos. later.

The Best Ive used

Mail program to end all mail program. Plan on a learning curve, but the program seems to be able to mix and match protocols. Im sure after a time with this software it will become second nature. I would recommend this to anyone with a need for a full featured email program.

Saved my bacon when the native mail app on my iPad suddenly decided it wouldnt allow me to click on any links in emails - if I did so, the app crashed (same thing happening in Safari, so its off to another browser as well.) This app has a built-in browser, so links are working fine again. Thanks!

Works well with various accounts. Has a better feature list & easy setup.

Ive read many of the other reviews. Id just be repeating... But Ive tried literally every email aggregation app I could find and this is the most versatil and functional I have tried. Ive been using on my Desktop iMac for a few months and love it. Nice to have the same product on my iPad.

First impressions are great so far. Just downloaded and set up earlier today. Most attractive email account I have seen and the setup possibilities are exceptional for an email app! Have already received a follow up from the app writer wanting to make sure all is well. That is very unusual. Very happy camper so far!

This is the closest thing to a doitall email program there is. They are right clear your email in seconds. Would recommend.

There is a bit of a learning curve for this app, but that is due to all of the features this app brings. The feature that has been extremely valuable to me thus far is being able to adjust font and highlight text when editing an email. There are numerous other features as well.

Been searching for an app for years now that would work with my crappy Time Warner home pop email. Tried every other mail app on the I store. This is the first one that works flawlessly! 5 stars! Allows me to track my 3 different email accounts, business, home, etc... with no problems. Would recommend!

I am a basic user but find this app easy to use.

Great product very versatile many features the is a learning curve, I use it almost every day it one of the best apps on the market I must say all of the apps that has come on the market from this vendor are very well thought out and well written AltMail as all the others is well worth while to check them out. Quite unique given the myriad of options. Takes a bit to learn the navigation.

I have tried them all but none of the others can come near AltMail.
