AltaMail Classic App Reviews

I have used AltaMail for several months as my main email program on my iPhone 7 Plus and before that, my iPhone 6s Plus. I am a computer programmer with over 50 years of experience. I have purchased over 1,000 apps. I constantly evaluate different apps in each category of app that I use. Perhaps 6 to 9 months ago I decided to download all the top email apps and try them. I wanted something at least as good as Google Mail (Gmail), which I have used for years. AltaMail is vastly more powerful and flexible even than Google Mail. In addition, if there is any feature that any other mail app has, then that feature is in this program. That made for a little time spent setting the program up originally. However, the setup as it comes delivered is perfectly fine too. If you want something you can live with and grow with for many years, and that is always simple and easy to use and a delight to touch, then I recommend this email app, AltaMail, to you.

the only client out there that doesnt harvest your emails into their cloud - all emails are downloaded to your phone. a million features, reminds me of Eudora back in the day, love this app. get it before it gets bought out and ruined like all other great apps out there!!! 6 stars!!

Ive only had AltaMail for a day, so Im still learning how to use it. I like the customizable nature of it. You can even change the color of it. Also you can delete everything at once, or uncheck what you dont want delete. Something I havent figured out yet is wheres the SPAM folder, maybe it doesnt have that. I guess Ill find out eventually.

I have been using this for a long time now. Still the best app I have found to handle the multiple email accounts I use. Coming from a Blackberry, Apple mail app is really sub par, especially for searching. AltaMail finally gives me the ability to really use email to send attachments from other emails and integrate with OmniFocus.

Terrible, to complicated cannot create an exchange account. Every other app I have tried had no problems at all. Dont buy this app. I feel ripped off.

Has been my email app of choice for a few years and only gets better with each revision. Support team has bent over backwards to fix minor problems that were peculiar to my iPad. Dont think you can find a better email app then AltaMail.

I have finally found the email app that works best with POP (and IMAP) accounts. It has many features and options that should please every user. Plus, it will sync your email on all devices, which then eliminates those irritating duplicate emails! And their customer service is very helpful.

After a couple of weeks use I decided to buy the whole package: Mail, PDF writer and Printer Pro. With the iCloud capabilities I am convinced now that this package will serve all my needs. I often move emails in pdf format to other apps and that was the only thing that was missing compared to other packages I have been using. It looks like that is solved now: well done!

I usually do not write reviews but in this case it is certainly warranted. The Alta mail app has become my favorite mail app. The ease of its use, and multiple features, is wonderful. The app itself functions flawlessly. Anyone interested in a top notch mail program should have no reservations about purchasing.

I have tried many Email Apps in the past, By Far, This one is THE BEST Ever....It Is My Favorite out of All 140 Apps I Have.. I use email a lot and this one here really comes in handy its just a complete package it does it all...! Took me A little while to learn All the Features,...Tons of features... Again, the best email program out there...This one is going to be pretty Tuff To Beat...

If not for anything the control you have when deleting Bulk emails makes this app great!

I love the features and options of this mail client. Unfortunately, it doesnt sync mail in the background, even with the all phone and app background refresh settings set to on. The notification badge is not updated. The reinstall didnt work. The workarounds are too cumbersome. Uninstalled.

This is the best email client I have ever used on my iPhone. Loaded with features, but quick and easy to use. A dream for power users.
